Before the railway came through, Narre Warren North was Narre Warren. It was the original township, until the new station pulled the town south and the old post office took on the "North".

Today it's a mix of established homes and some bigger, sloping blocks heading up towards Harkaway. Plenty of yards here have walls, paths and drainage that went in a long time ago.

Older blocks, new levels

On an established block, the first job is often an old sleeper wall that's leaning, soft or rotting at the base. We pull it out and rebuild in concrete sleeper, block or rock. Then we put proper drainage behind it, with ag pipe, scoria and geofabric, so the new wall doesn't go the same way. Once the levels are sorted, the rest of the yard can follow.
